Business Advantage co-produces new business show on PNG television
Business Advantage International will co-produce a new format television program about business in Papua New Guinea with national broadcaster EMTV.
Business Advantage Boardroom will be a panel-based program, broadcast as part of EMTV’s primetime ‘Business PNG’ program.
EMTV will co-produce the program in partnership with Business Advantage International, publishers of businessadvantagepng.com.
Panel discussion
‘We are delighted to working with Business Advantage on this program,’ said EMTV’s CEO, Bhanu Sud. ‘They have an excellent reputation for their coverage of business in PNG over the past decade and will be genuine partners in the production.
‘The panel discussion format is a great one for helping viewers understand how business in PNG works, and its potential to develop the country.’
‘Our goal will be to encourage genuine discussion and information sharing from the business leaders we invite on the show, ‘ said Business Advantage’s Publishing Director Andrew Wilkins, who will moderate the discussions on-air. ‘Each program will focus on a different sector of PNG’s economy and its potential.’
First episode
Business Advantage Boardroom is scheduled to go to air for the first time next Tuesday 30 August at 8pm PNG time as part of ‘Business PNG’ and, initially, it will appear quarterly thereafter.
The first episode will focus on PNG’s foreign exchange challenges, and the financial services sector.
The guest panelists will be Loi M Bakani (Governor, Bank of PNG), Robin Fleming (CEO, BSP) and Moses Liu (Managing Director, National Development Bank).
