Investment Conference partners PNG Chamber of Commerce & Industry

Business Advantage International is excited to announce a partnership with the Papua New Guinea Chamber of Commerce & Industry (PNGCCI) to promote international investment in Papua New Guinea.

The PNG Chamber has been announced as an Event Partner of the Papua New Guinea Investment Conference, which will take place in Sydney, Australia on 7 and 8 September this year.

The aim of the conference is to promote broad-based economic growth across Papua New Guinea by showcasing a wide range of PNG industries to the international business community.

‘We’re delighted to welcome the PNGCCI as an Event Partner,’ said Andrew Wilkins of the conference organisers, Business Advantage International.

‘Like our other Event Partners—the Asian Development Bank, the World Bank’s International Finance Corporation, Air Niugini and EMTV—the PNGCCI recognizes the importance of promoting investment in PNG to an international audience.’

As part of the partnership, the PNGCCI will provide advice on the event program and will actively promote the event through its local and international networks.

‘This event will promote economic development throughout PNG,’ said John Leahy, President of the PNGCCI, which represents 17 business chambers across PNG.

‘Having the event in Sydney, the financial capital of the region, will also enable us to have conversations with many new potential investors and partners who may currently not have PNG on the radar.’

Registrations for the conference, which will feature 40 speakers over a full two-day program, are now open at the website pnginvestmentconference.com to Papua New Guinean and international business people.

The venue for the conference will be the iconic, five-star Shangri-La Hotel in Sydney’s historic Rocks district.
